Boutique law firm in Alpharetta seeking the right paralegal/office administrator.

We are looking for a full time paralegal/office administrator, with flexible hours and the opportunity to work part time from home. You must be meticulous, conscientious, client focused, technologically proficient and a self-starter.
Minimum Requirements:
At least three years of actual law firm experience in litigation (civil, domestic, and criminal) in state courts (federal and appellate courts are a plus). Substantial experience needed in all phases of case preparation, including interviewing clients and witnesses, internet research, legal research, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, motion drafting, trial preparation and assistance in court.
Experience in business transactional and estate planning and administration is a plus.
Good communication skills are a must. Experience with MS Office, electronic case management and filing, and electronic research services required.
You will enjoy a large degree of autonomy and participate in all aspects of client service.
You will be responsible to :
- Manage cases from start to finish in cooperation with attorney.
- Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
- Manage and maintain office supplies and inventory
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for office staff
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff members
- Assist with document preparation, including drafting correspondence and proofreading documents
- Conduct research and compile information as needed
- Maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, associate's degree with certificate and substantial experience considered
- Proven experience as a paralegal and legal office administrator
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using client management software, Westlaw and other legal research tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
