Edible Production Technician

Job Description, Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- The edible production technician is responsible for safely and compliantly following company SOP’s to prepare and produce edibles with our team. This includes accurately recording all batch data, carefully inspecting hardware and equipment before, during and after production as well as numerous other tasks to ensure all edibles produced are up to company standards.
- This position requires mainly light lifting with occasional heavy lifting (60lbs ), bending, kneeling and sitting.
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences. Strong communication skills appreciated.
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the general public.
- Safely and responsibly producing while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Desire to assist with METRC, Adilas, Kanha, Leaflink, Excel, weekly inventory and quality control checks.
Requirements:
- Valid CO MED Badge
- High school graduate or GED completion
- Positive Attitude, well disciplined and a strong work ethic
- Previous experience within the commercial cannabis industry appreciated but not required
- Culinary, pastry, or food science experience desired but not required

This position is Monday through Friday.
-40 hours weekly with the possibility of occasional weekend shifts/overtime
Starting compensation: $17.00 - $19.00
