Oliver Inc. is looking for a self-driven and customer-centric Inside Sales Leader who will drive the growth of our e-commerce division Aspecialtybox.com, by ensuring products are fully optimized to increase conversion rates and retain account relationships. The ideal candidate is an overachiever, eager to develop funnel activities and exceed revenue goals through targeted cold calls, and constantly finding ways to increase awareness of our company and printing/packaging services. Responsibilities
- Lead the long-term vision of the e-commerce strategy and customer experience leveraging and creating digital shopping journeys, industry trends, and customer insights and expectations (internal and external sources).
- Develop sales plans and commercial calendar in partnership with the Chief Revenue Officer to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with sales goals.
- Responsible for building an inside sales team from the ground up. Including: Recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching a team of inside sales representatives.
- Build and own the e-commerce sales development roadmap and holistic customer experience.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Manage a personal book of business including prospecting, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities.
- Cold-call and email prospects to qualify the lead; identify decision makers to begin sales process.
- Respond/follow up on customer web/email inquiries regarding online merchandise and sales inquiries.
- Assist customers with product selection, sample orders, and answer basic and escalated calls.
- Continue to grow relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects by conducting research to find new leads.
- Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process.
- Provide support to the live chat functionality of the website.
- Audit the customer experience via surveys and/or follow-up phone calls and put forth every effort to keep customers happy and satisfied.
- Oversee account item cost, margin, and annual contract negotiations.
- Monitor and update open sales order, finished goods inventory, and open orders for billing reports.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Create reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and forecasting.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing Teams.
- Travel to various trade shows to assist (open to travel during the weekend).
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a customer service/inside sales/ e-commerce environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task while exercising judgment in a high volume and fast paced environment.
- Attention to Detail.
- Advanced use of Ms Word, Excel, and various reporting software
- Analytical skills including Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Excel.
- Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree
