Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic project manager to provide transaction support services to Greystone Select Incorporated as they provide Transaction Management services to a public agency client. The Transaction Manager will report to the Transaction Management Lead. The position will be based in Greystone’s New York City office and be required to be in the office approximately 2-3 days per week and at the client’s office 1 day per week.
Duties:
Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer and Transaction Management Lead, the Transaction Manager will be assigned transactions for the disposition and acquisition of public agency real estate assets. Responsibilities include:
- Draft transaction documents and internal approval memoranda
- Negotiate contracts of sale, purchase agreements, leases, licenses and other transaction documents on behalf of the client
- Manage external consultants, brokers facilitating assigned transactions and assist with procurement of title reports, surveys, appraisals, etc.
- Act as client’s liaison with internal operating divisions to facilitate transactions
- Assist in developing process maps and process improvements to facilitate transactions for the client
- Additional transaction work as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in real estate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with FTA regulations and processes a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
