Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles and is proficient in using QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Record and maintain financial transactions, including debits and credits
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to identify discrepancies or errors
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Monitor and maintain inventory records
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software QuickBooks & Microsoft Applications
- Familiarity with financial concepts and terminology
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
