Job Description/General Function
Aides in the general office duties following the policies, procedures, and standards established
by the Association. Develop positive relationships with staff and members.
Responsibilities
- Collect and fold laundry
- Facility cleaning tasks as needed
- Filing papers
- Work as a team with other staff
- Other activities and/or projects as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
• Pass a Washington State background check
• Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
• Upholds YMCA policies for safety, supervision, mandated reporting and risk
management. Adheres to policies related to boundaries with youths.
Working Conditions
Environment
• Office setting with multi phone lines and constant interruptions
Physical Abilities
• Must have ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment
• Possibility of working early morning, evening and weekend work hours
• Seeing to monitor members during shift; hearing and speaking to exchange and gather
information and provide assistance to members
• Bending at the waist to pick up laundry, supplies and perform daily cleaning tasks
• Lifting up to 25 pounds
