What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Quality Manager position at Olympus Energy?
Olympus Energy LLC (“Olympus”) is seeking a motivated team member for the position of Manager – Air
Quality for its Pittsburgh area office. This position will be responsible for oversight of air permitting,
compliance, data analysis, and support for Olympus’s upstream and midstream gas projects and will
work closely with the Operations team as well as the EHSR team. This role requires previous oil and gas
related experience in the Appalachia region and will report to the Director - EHSR.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage air permitting, compliance, and reporting programs
- Coordinate LDAR monitoring at upstream and midstream facilities, including annual air
- Interact with various regulatory agencies and industry groups related to air quality regulations
- Provide support for internal air quality monitoring programs, including siting and data
- Drive emission reduction programs for upstream and midstream projects
Job qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience/certification in the operation of Optical Gas Imaging Cameras
- Understanding of EPA emission measurement methodology and emissions calculations
- Understanding of Pennsylvania O&G air permit compliance requirements
- Five years of related experience preferred
