What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Designer position at Omega Digital Media?

The role for the designer will not involve building code from scratch - you will be using a web interface to design sites that has small places of coding that is not complex.

The Web Development Team fits and communicates with all departments while servicing internal and client needs. Having strong call to actions and a pretty place to land when searching are among the most important things needed to have a quality website and brand experience. Reducing the steps to a purchase decision and helping increase sales are always the underlying purpose of a great website.

The Web Developer role is an important role that is fueled by ‘sticking with it’ and creative drive. The Web Developer develops and delivers website assets for internal and client needs. The Web Developer also ensures all web development projects are completed with a high standard of quality while working alongside our Deign Team.

Projects will be prioritized by deadlines while managing design specifications, requests and budget restrictions. The Web Developer is ambitious, strives for positivity, solves problems creatively and has actions that align with our company values.

The goal for our Web Developer is to be a main contributing factor to the growth of the Web Developer Team’s revenue year over year by properly managing their design projects while creating and growing client relationships.

The expectations for the Web Developer are to personify our company mission, seek out our company vision, and live by our company values while performing their role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Springfield, MO 65802: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Front-end development: 1 year (Preferred)
  • CSS: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Angular: 1 year (Preferred)
  • website design and/or development: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Required)

Work Location: One location
