POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager is the backbone of the project team as the point person for
decision making and all project related issues. On smaller projects, the Project
Manager may assume the duties of the Project Architect.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be proficient in Revit
- LEED AP preferred
- At least 8-10 years of Relevant Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project type: (Familiar with at least one) COMMERCIAL, DIRECT RETAILER, EDUCATION, HOSPITALITY, MIXED-USE, MULTI-FAMILY, RETAIL
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Oversight and Coordination
- Responsible for overall direction, coordination and implementation, execution, control and completion of projects
- Protection of the office through consistence with firm strategy, commitments, policies and goals
- Diligently manages daily status of projects
- Maintains project files, trains staff to maintain project files
- Responsible for adherence to execution of design intent, working with design staff and Client to produce optimal design results
- Assists Client throughout CDs, bidding, permitting, and CA phases
- Responsible for programmatic QA / QC Orchestrates Project Communication
- Is the point of contact for communications within the project team
- Point of Contact for Client communications, meetings notes
- Generates reports
- Responsible for Project Team
- Motivates team toward meeting project goals
- Responsible for mentoring and evaluating staff
- Responsible for time management, budgeting and financial management of staff
- Assists Project Director / Managing Principal
- Assists in preparation of contracts, agreements, and additional services
- Assists in selection of consultants and fee negotiations
- Assists in billing and collection activities
- Represents the firm at public hearings, if needed.
