Job Description

The Accounts Payable Assistant will primarily be responsible to complete payments and control expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret all invoices, payment requests, and credit memos for accuracy and compliance with the accounting practices and policies of the organization.
  • Recording Entries - key expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports.
  • Assist in streamlining the Accounts Payable process; Establish ACH payment process and reduce usage of paper.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system report to balance and monthly statements
  • Prepare sales invoices and bank deposits.
  • Monitor the Accounts Payable workflows in the system for issues, backups and problems.
