Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country.
Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming.
The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between.
The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green.
Job Description
Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking an outgoing Pool Hut Retail Agent to join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district.
Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.
This team member will be responsible for greeting guests outside the pool hut, near the family pool. The Retail Sales Associate performs the role of a shopkeeper, presenting merchandise to customers, assisting with merchandise selection, and facilitating the sales transaction.
This role is seasonal from April September.
Responsibilities
- Stocks shelves, counters, tables and similar display fixtures with merchandise in a fashion that maximizes product visibility and promotes sales.
- Sell merchandise to guests.
- Responsible for shop organization, proper displays, placing new merchandise on floor as well as insuring all items are properly tagged and inventory control.
- Affix accurate prices to merchandise with stamps, tags, labels and similar methods.
- Provides suggestions, information, and similar assistance to customers as requested. Maintains substantial knowledge of products in assigned store as well as general product knowledge regarding merchandise for sale in other retail outlets on property.
- Accurately record sales and other transactions using the point-of-sale system. Accept payment and make change as necessary following established accounting procedures.
- Maintains continuous effort to clean shelves, counters, tables, fixtures, and floors.
- Maintains awareness to all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners.
- Completes daily sales reports for analysis.
- Is aware of current monthly sales performance and increases sales per hour and units per transaction as required.
- Participates in periodic merchandise inventory as scheduled.
- Adheres to cash handling policies.
- Will be exposed to the elements : Heat (Partially Outside)
Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
- Flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for length of shift.
- Must be able to stand for entire shift.
