The Team Leader position is critical to achieving this focus by providing supervision, support and assistance to case management staff assigned to the incumbent to ensure service delivery for clients and their families to maximize the social functioning and adjustment of the client. Summary: Responsible for supervising and directing the activities of the case management staff who are responsible for all aspects of service delivery for clients placed in their caseload. This position directs the work of others to ensure job performance follows Omni Vision’s policies and procedures, OSHA, HIPPA, federal, local and state regulations. Participates in team activities in accordance with the Omni Vision mission and values.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in social services, human services or related field required for foster care services oversight. Master’s degree preferred for adult services oversight. Minimum of three years’ experience working with developmentally, intellectually and/or physically disabled individuals or special needs children and one year of supervisory experience preferred. Experience required with children’s mental health and behavioral population. Must be able to work independently and demonstrate good judgment in decision making; strong organizational and interpersonal skills required; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to apply behavior management and intervention techniques as appropriate.
- Ability to connect and network within the community to access available resources.
- Ability to work with various courts and other judicial proceedings for placement and custody of clients.
- Working knowledge of the use and side effects of various psychotropic medications used to treat behavioral disorders.
- Ability to provide leadership and supervision consistent with the Omni Visions mission, values and philosophies to attract, motivate and retain top talent.
- Ability to demonstrate managerial courage when tough decisions must be made.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable transportation. Verified state licenses, including credentialing and training, as required by state regulations.
