Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our chiropractic practice. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with patient assessments, providing patient service, and utilizing your knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Responsibilities:
- Assist chiropractors with patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance documentation
- Educate patients on chiropractic treatment plans and provide guidance on exercises or stretches as directed by the chiropractor
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
- Collaborate with the chiropractor to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and sanitized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chiropractic Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient service
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately record patient information
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
