What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Plumbing Mechanic position at Omnia Mechanical Group?

We are seeking a Senior Plumbing Mechanic to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Install cast iron and copper pipe for water, waste and vent roughing
  • Test natural gas systems
  • Install new piping to re-pipe natural gas systems
  • Assemble and install plumbing systems
  • Repair plumbing fixtures
  • Troubleshoot and repair pipe, piping systems and fixtures
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Experience with jobbing and service plumbing

​Qualifications:

  • Full gas work qualifications
  • At least 5 years as a plumbing mechanic
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary : $32 - $45
