The primary responsibility of the SEO Specialist is to facilitate the day-to-day execution of organic search optimization for OMNICOMMANDER clients. You should be highly skilled in all areas of SEO and driving organic results. The SEO Specialist will work to improve clients’ long-term organic performance by driving keyword ranking increases, qualified search traffic, and other key business outcomes that may vary from client to client.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on new websites
- Recommend changes to website architecture, site map, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for targeted keywords
- Work with Account Managers to identify the best targeted keywords for each client
- Optimize copy, landing pages, and other digital content for search optimization
- Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery, expansion, and optimization
- Routinely attend client meetings with Account Managers to provide technical guidance and expertise
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes
- Serve as the key SEO expert/advocate for both OMNICOMMANDER and clients
- Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyze and improve SEO performance
- Execute on-page optimizations and link building
- Work with the copywriting team to drive SEO in content creation efforts
- Act as an advisor to the Social Media team regarding keyword optimization for organic posts
You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3 to 5 years experience managing SEO strategy (agency experience is a major plus)
- Successful track record growing organic search traffic and conversions
- Proven experience in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- In-depth experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and others
- Experience working with popular CMS platforms such as Squarespace, WordPress, etc
- Data-driven and analytical mindset
- Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
- Must be proficient in the use of Google Workspace and Mac hardware/software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
