We are looking to expand our growing practice by hiring for the role of Finance Associate within our Comprehensive, Cross Disciplinary Financial Planning & Wealth Management Firm.

The mission of our Finance Associate is to oversee the implementation of and continually evaluate OGWP’s planning strategies, investment philosophies, and portfolio positions. The Finance Associate will work closely with entire team providing reports and making recommendations on managers, advisory service products, strategists, and investment selections. You can accomplish long term success with OGWP by working hard, following processes, and completing responsibilities with a “neat, complete and on time” mindset. Job Responsibilities

· Conduct investment research using third party investment research tools such as Morningstar and Zach’s Investment Research as well as proprietary Excel spreadsheets and tools to develop portfolios, buy/sell recommendations, and target pricing.

· Manage OGWP’s internal investment portfolios and models

· Research available products and investment solutions, coordinating with sponsor companies and strategic partners for information

· Generate and analyze performance reports

· Advise on portfolio construction, including overall asset allocation, tactical shifts, and fund selection.

· Prepare and assemble materials and recommendations for presentation during client meetings

· Maintain solutions for clients and trade portfolios according to their risk tolerance and objectives

· Maintain and develop practice scorecards and reports to measure and track practice initiatives

· Assist with trading, such as investing, raising cash and rebalancing, as needed

· Attend product rollouts, firm-wide training calls and report back to team on findings

· Work within financial planning software (eMoney) to input client data and analyze linked client accounts

· Recognize and propose new planning processes to help make the practice more streamlined and efficient within our strategic planning framework

· Work with team to provide client service by communicating via phone, email, Teams, and letters.

· Support advisors and other OGWP employees in maintaining a compliant practice

· Adhere to firm policies, books & recordkeeping, and help maintain compliant files

Requirements & Experience

Our Finance Associate needs to be a critical thinker with strong analytical skills. They would enjoy diving into research projects and staying up to date with market & planning trends. They are not intimidated by Excel or learning new technology. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are also important.

· 1-2 years’ experience working in the financial industry (preferred)

· FINRA 6 or 7 and 63 securities licenses & Life and Health Insurance (preferred)

· Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software (preferred)

· Experience with Financial Planning software (preferred)

· Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Superior analytical skills
