Logistics and Inventory Material HandlerOmniGuide Inc. is currently in search of a Logistics and Inventory Material Handler who specializes in Laser Medical Equipment (Co2 and Thulium Lasers) to join our growing production team in Billerica, MA.

Job Description : As a Logistics and Inventory Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products within our organization.
Your primary responsibilities will include : Receiving : Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against shipping documents, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
Inventory Management : Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and data entry. Organize and store materials in designated locations.
Order Fulfillment : Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.
Shipping : Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging materials. Coordinate with carriers for outgoing shipments and ensure timely delivery.
Material Handling : Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse or production area.
Quality Control : Perform periodic inventory audits and cycle counts to reconcile discrepancies. Identify and report any quality issues or concerns.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams such as purchasing, production, and customer service to support overall business operations.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or inventory management preferred.
Familiarity with inventory management software or systems is a plus.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to insert weight limit , and perform physical tasks as needed.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as required.WHAT WE OFFER : Competitive pay of $15 / h to $25 / h; commensurate with experience.
