Welcome to OmniLytics! We are a biotech company that provides biological, organic, and environmentally safe bacterial solutions for fruit and specialty vegetable growers primarily pome fruits, stone fruits, tomatoes, and peppers. We’re hiring a Sales Account Manager to join our team in the northeastern United States. In this role, you will handle overall sales and account management as well as conducting grower trial demos from start to finish.
We pride ourselves on our small, tight-knit, and forward-thinking culture at OmniLytics. We have a very smart group of scientific-thinking employees but are constantly open to feedback to improve efficiency.
We offer competitive compensation ranging from $80,000-$110,000 based on experience, health and dental insurance, paid vacation, bonuses, car allowance, and 401(k). In this role you may work from home anywhere in the Northeast US (Pennsylvania is preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.
- Identify new prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business.
- Possess in-depth product knowledge, know the complexities of the industry, and identify the best practices to achieve success.
- Conduct grower trial demos from start to finish and handle objections.
- Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other required documentation for management presentations.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Three or more years of sales experience within the agriculture industry or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or other relatable degree (equivalent experience will be evaluated).
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM.
- Ability to interpret and create Excel spreadsheets.
- Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- A strong knowledge of the growing process and grower trends will be highly beneficial.
- Fruit and orchard experience is preferred but not required.
- Proven success rate at levels above sales goals.
- Ability to travel at least 40% of the time to customer outreach efforts.
- Strong science background with an understanding of microbiological processes.
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
