OmniTRAX is a complete shipping partner, using railroads, ports, transloading, logistics, warehousing, and industrial development to help businesses move their products conveniently and efficiently, whether their final destination is across the city or across the world. OmniTRAX is looking to hire a Trainmaster to join our dynamic team of employees in a fast-growing, fast-paced work environment. POSITION SUMMARYThe Trainmaster directly supervises two or more employees in the Operations Department. Oversees operations and administrative functions at an individual site location including, but not limited to the safe and efficient movement of all trains at a specified property.  Oversees the progress and productivity of all assigned personnel, to include prioritizing work efforts and setting performance standards; manages assignment of resources, and management of assets and processes at specified property.  Interviews, hires and trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems.  Executes the service plan to include: production, quality, cost containment and reassignment of resources to achieve maximum efficiency.  Ensures the safety of crews and meets operational and financial targets as outlined by the service plan and associated key performance indicators that attain company objectives.The Trainmaster demonstrates and adheres to the company values of: safety, honesty, ownership, respect and teamwork to ensure successful partnership with customers and employees that result in OmniTRAX’s continued success.COMPENSATIONFLSA Status: Exempt, Not Eligible for OvertimeEligible for Participation - Annual Discretionary BonusBENEFITSFulfilling a role in an industry that keeps this country running isn’t the only reason to work for OmniTRAX.
