Omron Automation and Safety is looking for an energetic and focused Account Manager in the Seattle area to expand our Washington business in high potential industries and market segments. We are specifically interested in people who have sold at an Enterprise level to Fortune 1000 OEM and End Users and have a proven history of consistent sales successes in the field of Automation.
Responsibilities
- This is an established territory with high growth potential.
- Ability to treat this territory as your own business.
- Work with partners to help them understand our offering and solutions.
- Perform product demo’s
- Execute high velocity sales within OEM and End User accounts utilizing solutions that have a proven competitive advantage in target markets.
- Increase Omron product classes at customers through a fundamental knowledge of the entire portfolio of products.
- Ability to network both internally and externally to meet sales objectives.
- Ability to cross pollinate solutions to other industries/customers
- Maintain a thirst for knowledge and willingness to learn.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of solution selling experience. Working knowledge of territory and types of customers (distribution, integrators, OEM’s and end users).
- Bachelor Degree from a 4-year college/university or related technical school.
- Sales experience with some of our product offerings:
- Machine Vision Systems
- Motion Control (Servos, Drives, Controllers and Motors)
- PLC/HMI (hardware, software and interfaces)
- Components (Sensors, Relays and Switches)
- Safety (Light Curtains, Controllers, Sensors and E-Stops)
- Auto ID (Barcode and RFID
- Active listening, knowledge of how to grow/work a territory, working knowledge of some of our product offerings and how they are used, team player and bring a can-do attitude.
- Overnight travel: less than 20%

The annual salary range for this role is $95,000 - $116,000 a year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus program. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
