Sr. Manager, Human Resources
Reports To: Chief People Officer
Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager Human Resources will partner closely with the Chief People Officer to serve as a trusted strategic business partner and advisor providing insight on scaling the business, strategic direction, and alignment of cross-functional and activities. This role will influence the people function for the global organization, including talent acquisition, employee relations and retention, compensation, health and welfare, workforce planning, change management, diversity and inclusion, compliance, organizational development, and training at the strategic and tactical level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with the Chief People Officer to develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction to establish human resources objectives that align with the organization objectives.
- Build partnerships with leaders to provide human resources support, advice, coaching, and counsel surrounding the organization’s goals and strategies related to organizational design, employee engagement, growth, and development, recruiting and retention.
- Develop, lead, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human capital compliance and strategy needs.
- Administer and oversees human resources programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; employee relations; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, engagement, and training and development.
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends (i.e., turnover, engagement, etc.) including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resources information system (HRIS).
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and talent management; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and to human resources leadership.
- Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business, or related fields.
- Majority of experience working in SaaS, manufacturing or technology industries.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources working in large ($500M-$1B) and small companies ($50-100M)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading a human resource team.
- Certified DDI Targeted Selection Interviewing preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a global organization, specific experience in Canada and the UK, required.
- Proven experience scaling human resources through rapid growth. Private and public company experience combined.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with benefits.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with visualization software (PowerBI, Tableaux, etc.) for reporting.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with HRIS systems (Ceridian, WorkDay, etc.)
