Description

Seeking diligent, detail-oriented adjusters with excellent interpersonal and quantitative skills.  Adjusters will conduct field inspections on damage to residential properties, from claims outsourced to One Call Claims by our Carrier partners.  The IA will inspect, write estimates, and submit findings from these inspections, and final determination on coverages will be provided by the insurer’s Desk Adjuster.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Initial contact with insured to schedule inspection and discuss details of the loss.
  • Thorough inspection at the loss location, including photos, measurements, an estimate written in Xactimate, sketch, etc.
  • Submission of all pertinent claim related information back to One Call Claims via Xactanalysis or VCA.
  • Ability to meet standard One Call Claims turnaround times.

Qualifications


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Effective interpersonal and customer service communications
  • Well-developed verbal, listening and written communication skills
  • Responsible time management with proven ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Extremely detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and manner
  • Computer literacy; Proficient with Xactimate and Xactanalysis a MUST
  • Exposure to VCA preferred

Licensing/Experience:

Adjuster must be actively licensed in the state in which he/she is handling claims.

At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to carry a ladder and access:  steep and two-story roofs, attics, crawl spaces, etc
