What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy 340B Coordinator position at One Health?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act requires pharmaceutical manufacturers participating in Medicaid to sell outpatient drugs at discounted prices to health care organizations that care for many uninsured and low-income patients. This program is essential to helping One Health stretch our limited resources to better serve our vulnerable communities. It requires stringent audits and compliance requirements.
The 340B coordinator is responsible for assisting the pharmacy director with the day-to-day management and coordination of One Health’s 340B program in accordance with the goals and objectives of the health center. The 340B coordinator ensures program compliance across the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

340B Auditing
- Develops, executes, and documents self-audits of the 340B program within the in-house pharmacies, contract pharmacies and clinic sites.
- Coordinates and ensures remediation of any findings.
- Provides support for all audits performed by independent, external auditors.
- Maintains a current state of audit readiness.
340B Program Compliance
- Assists with policy and procedure development.
- Provides ongoing 340B training, education, and communication to staff across the organization in coordination with the Pharmacy Director.
- Routinely monitors industry publications and websites for 340B updates and/or changes.
- Assists with the management of 340B inventory and contracts.
- Tracks and reports program savings monthly or as needed.
Attendance
- Ensures attendance and hours worked are accurately recorded per policy.
- Properly manages paid time off according to One Health policy.
- Responsible for regular, predictable attendance and to work hours as scheduled including evenings or weekends.
Other
- Participates in performance optimization and risk management activities as required.
- Adheres to all One Health Policies and Procedures.
- Cooperates and abides by all elements of One Health’s Compliance Program.
- Provides exceptional customer service and models the mission of One Health when interacting with internal and external stakeholders promoting a positive image for One Health.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certificates/Licenses:
Required
- Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of work experience and education
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Certified Pharmacy Technician license
Experience:
Required
- 2 years work experience in program coordination, data, or administrative support
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Computation skills
Preferred
- 1 year work experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting
