Position Summary: *Works independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop interior space solutions to meet customer needs. Develops libraries of curated products and solutions informed by commercial furnishing trends and typologies. Will frequently collaborate with Sales, Coordination, and Project Management teams, as well as Design Leadership, Strategic Sourcing and Marketing. Involved in design projects and related tasks from inception to final installation.

Responsibilities: *

• Curate product libraries and collections.
• Partner and collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Manager and Studio West Ancillary team.
• Provide insights and guidance on ONELOOK and Ideas Hub.
• Partner with Sales on engagements/workshops with customer/A&D.
• Participate in RFP responses and interviews, and serve as an expert consultant on RFPs and projects.
• Uncover customer challenges; conduct product research and data collection; perform field verification and inventory.
• Develop floor plans, installation drawings, validation packages and spreadsheets.
• Contact vendors for pricing and information.
• Present design concepts to customers.
• Perform peer audits when necessary.

Qualifications: *
Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree, AA degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school will be considered.
• Must have at least 3-years’ experience in the Design field.
• Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) or National Architecture Board (NAB) accreditation preferred. Prior experience with system furniture products a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Must believe in the ability of physical space to have a positive impact on the lives of others and possess an appreciation for Design Principles and Design Thinking Methodology.
• Knowledge of state and federal building codes.
• Proficient in a variety of software: AutoCAD, SketchUP, and Microsoft office. Also desired is experience with CET Designer, 20/20 CAP, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
