OneEighty is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping people. We provide comprehensive addiction, domestic violence, mental health and behavioral health services, and operate multiple care facilities throughout our community. Were still growing, integrating with primary care services and increasing access to care for all those who need it.
We are seeking to hire a full time, Maintenance Technician who will provide repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure our facilities are safe, healthy and secure
Essential Tasks, Duties, Responsibilities:
- In the absence of the Custodian, clean and care for buildings and facilities to ensure they are maintained in a safe and healthy manner. Able to complete all tasks and duties outlined on that job description.
- Assist the Grounds and Maintenance Specialist with mowing, weeding, sweeping and removal of snow and ice.
- Assists in the preventative maintenance program for the building and its fixtures on a daily, weekly, monthly and as needed basis.
- Performs repairs and maintenance services including:
- Pipes, drains, plumbing fixtures and waste disposal systems in facilities owned or operated by the agency in accordance with current laws and regulations.
- HVAC systems, lighting fixtures, electrical apparatus, fixtures, wiring, refrigeration unites and similar electric elements in the facilities owned or operated by the organization in accordance with current laws and regulations.
- Flooring, doors, window frames, staircases, stair treads, wall paneling, ceiling paneling, hardware and similar structural elements in the facilities owned or operated by the organization in accordance with current laws and regulations.
- Drywall patching and routine painting.
- Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors, vacuum and shampoo carpets.
- Examines OneEighty building and grounds on a regular basis for needed repairs and maintenance to ensure building safety and security.
- Safely operate all vehicles and job related equipment.
- Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.
- Setup of facilities for meetings, conferences and events.
- Move furniture, equipment, supplies as requested.
- Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials and supplies in a safe and orderly manner.
- Secure storage areas.
- Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner.
- Maintain and adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies following organizational procedures for ordering.
- Restock materials and supplies.
- Make note of the need for equipment repairs.
- Support and enforce all agency policies, OSHA rules, agency health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- On occasion may fill in for the OneEighty Van Driver.
- Attends all staff meeting and trainings as required.
- Any other duties as by the Facilities Manager, Operations Director or Executive Director.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 years of related experience.
- May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty.
- If in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety.
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEightys vehicle insurance.
- Ability to use a computer; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel.
- Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality; able to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA standards.
- Must have an excellent attendance record.
- Gets along with others and works as a team. Exhibits a can-do attitude.
- Must maintain appropriate boundaries with clients as set forth in OneEighty Policies and Procedures.
- Must have essential physical and mental capabilities in the following: Interpersonal skills, memory, attention to detail, follow directions, comprehension, calculating, reading, writing, speaking, evaluating, mathematics and organizing.
- Physical agility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; to bend, to stoop, to walk, to reach overhead, and work from a ladder.
Work Schedule and Benefits: Full-time, Non-Exempt, 40 hours per week, anytime between 7:00am9:00pm (flexibility required). Occasionally respond to after hour emergency calls.
Immediate Supervisor: Facilities Manager
Pay Range: Commensurate with education, certification and experience, available upon request.
