What are the responsibilities and job description for the LTE - Data Center position at OneNeck IT Solutions?
Overview
OneNeck IT Solutions has an LTE position on site in Carrollton, TX. This position will work with our Network Engineering Advanced Solutions team and will ideally start April 29 and run through August 2023. The schedule for this temporary position is every other Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CT.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers with installation of the network and related datacenter equipment, cabling and connections.
- Participate in the cutover activities associated with equipment refresh.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school Diploma, GED or HSED
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance and have access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to climb equipment and walk on rooftops and catwalks
- Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 75 lbs
- Must be willing to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 8-5:00 CT
Other Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to understand and articulate technical matters
- Ability to manage tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Exposure to basic operation or maintenance HVAC, Power, Fire, Security building systems operations and safety a plus
- Basic working knowledge of data center technologies, systems, and networking
