Position Overview : Associate Installer
The successful candidate for the Associate Installer position must possess a fundamental understanding of low voltage systems and exhibit a capacity to follow instructions diligently.
Adaptability, a strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to job sites are essential traits for this role.
The Associate Installer will operate in both residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities :
Rough-in :
- Adhere to engineered design documentation to accurately place wires for all system devices.
- Safely utilize power tools and ladders.
- Interpret and follow architectural plans for device layout.
- Demonstrate speed, efficiency, accuracy, and tidiness at all times.
Trimout :
- Terminate, verify, and label system wiring.
- Install AV devices in accordance with system documentation.
- Exhibit exceptional wire management and dressing skills, particularly in racks, interconnects, and wire runs during construction.
- Mount video displays and projectors; install, set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot multi-room audio systems.
Final Installation :
- Follow schematic documentation for AV rack building.
- Install and set up AV equipment.
- Conduct system troubleshooting and debugging.
- Integrate with sub-systems seamlessly.
- Possess basic networking knowledge for the deployment and troubleshooting of supported systems.
Additional Requirements :
- Personal Vehicle : Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a personal vehicle to job sites as required.
- Hand Tools : Required to provide own hand tools or reimburse the company via payroll deduction for provided tools.

- Compensation is negotiable and will be commensurate with job experience.
