Job Details
OneSparQ is looking for a Computer Installer for a national research center located in McLean, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Unpack, assemble, and install new Windows laptops according to client specifications
- Install necessary software, including operating systems (Windows 11 Core), productivity software (Microsoft 365), and other applications as per client requirements
- Configure system settings, establish user accounts, and ensure all software is updated to the latest versions
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any hardware or software issues that may arise during the installation process
- Provide clients with basic training on how to use their new laptops and answer any questions they may have
- Perform routine checks and upgrades to ensure systems are operating optimally
Required Skills:
- 6 months to 2 years experience working in an IT or hands-on technical environment
- Experience deploying Windows 10/11 as well as Mac oriented devices
- Experience working hands-on with Dell and HP equipment
Additional Skills:
- CompTIA A or other relevant certifications
