TVP Coordinator

Job Description Summary Sporting Kansas City is hiring a Coordinator to support our philanthropic arm of Sporting Kansas City, The Victory Project (TVP). The Victory Project’s objective is to raise funds and awareness for children battling cancer and making our favorite sport, soccer, accessible to all children regardless of physical or financial limitations. Job Description Essential Functions Manage the Honoree Program by recruiting honorees for all SKC home matches, coordinating honoree experience, managing input of honoree information into Salesforce, sharing follow up photos and videos. Plan and manage the Kickoff Childhood Cancer Match; invite all past honorees, secure tickets and tailgate experience, work across teams for match activations, recruit and manage volunteers. Manage small revenue streams. Donor stewardship; execute donor recognition in a timely manner, while inputting and maintaining donor database in salesforce. Managing grant applications, approvals, and payment for Soccer for All grants, Scholarships, and other partnerships. Manage interdepartmental collaboration. Support all TVP events; manage OneCause set up, event input, basic reconciliation, coordinate and train volunteers, secure silent and live auction items. Provide administrative support to the TVP team. Other duties as assigned. Personal Attributes Strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision. Professional appearance and attitude, as well as the ability to work with others. Skills & Experience 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Able to effectively communicate with management team, guests, and team members. Ability to manage frequent change. Competence in Salesforce, Formstack, SeatGeek, advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Must be organized, dependable, timely and effective in job duties. Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills with various stakeholders including Board and community members, honoree families, staff, and donors. Must have demonstrated attention to detail and reliability in competing tasks. Competence with volunteer management and fundraising is a necessity.
