We are currently seeking a professional and dedicated School Janitor to join our team. As a School Janitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming classrooms, offices, hallways, and other areas as assigned.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, and other surfaces.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
- Adhere to school policies and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Flexibility to work during non-school hours, including evenings and weekends, if required.
