Available Shifts
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate
- $18 - $22 p/h depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
As an Industrial Machinery Mechanic, you will:
- Run diagnostic tests to troubleshoot and repair industrial or factory equipment.
- Perform pressure washing and light paint work.
- Conduct inspections, adjustments, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment as part of preventative maintenance.
- Disassemble and repair machinery, replace old parts, and ensure all equipment is operating safely.
- Work independently and handle tasks like tearing down, replacing, installing, and assembling simple equipment, parts, components, and accessories.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in maintenance and at least 1 year in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Skills: Ability to run diagnostic tests, perform light maintenance tasks, and work independently when necessary.
- Attitude: Must be dependable, hard-working, and positive-minded.
- Commute: Willingness to commute to Decatur, AL.
Work Environment
- Challenging and Rewarding: Work in a dirty environment (oil/oil stains) with no AC, but fans are provided on site.
