- Starting Pay $13.00/hour (that's a weekly minimum of $520)

What You'll Do as a School Custodian/Janitor:
- Clean and maintain facility using routine procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations.
- Accountable for keeping a designated space clean and making sure every detail has been addressed.
- Operate cleaning equipment, mix ingredients in containers to prepare chemical cleaning solutions, and handling cleaning supplies according to established safety procedures
- Complete assigned cleaning schedule and touch point disinfecting that may include cleaning floors, restrooms, hallways, classrooms, common areas, windows, furniture, etc.
- Emptying wastebaskets and removing trash to appropriate bins.
- All other duties as assigned
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might:
- Be experienced in cleaning, custodial, sanitation, janitorial, housekeeping, and disinfecting, or have none; you'll be trained either way!
- Have the ability to follow directions, be self-managed, and utilize time effectively to complete tasks.
- Be experienced with how to properly handle cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Need to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, or repetitively carry loads up to 20 lbs. for the duration of your shift.
- Ability to pass a Background Check, Drug Screen, & a negative (TB) Tuberculosis test.
