What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Bag Manufacturer position at Onin?
Are you looking for a weekend position? That will allow you to have the week off and still hit your 40hrs? Well this is the job for you!
This is a machine operating position and the weekend shift is FRI-SUN 6A-6P (you work 36 hrs but get paid for 40!) during your training period you will be required to train on the basic M-F 8a-5p schedule. The pay starts at $13.00/hr and bumps up to $14 once you are fully trained with frequent raises! And the potential to be at $16/hr in 90-120days once fully trained. WITH TONS OF GROWTH POTENTIAL
Work Experience
In this position you will be manufacturing bags. The type of bags used for packaging seed, flour, bird feed and much more!
We are looking for someone who can operate the machinery to get the job done. Large rolls of paper will be loaded into the machine via a crane. And then it will go through the machine so logos and designs may be printed on to the paper. Then it goes to the 2nd step which is where another machine folds the bags and adds layers of material. Then in the 3rd step you will be running it thorugh so the bag may be glued together or sewn together. You will also have two assistants helping you!
Main Duties:
- Sets up and operates machine in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining expected standards of production quality and waste.
- Completes all daily production and quality reports, with Supervisor initialing and approving all hourly checks.
- Reads and initials Production Order Form
- You will be required to wear a mask and hair net other than that is is a completely relaxed dress code!
