We have an opportunity for a Forperson, Drywall to help manage a team of laborers and sub-contractors for a large mix-use development Onni is building in Burnaby. This position will be responsible for assisting the Superintendent with duties including making sure the crew shows up to work on time, training, and directing the crew.

We are Inline Drywall and we have been serving the greater Vancouver area and Vancouver Island since 2003. We are seeking an experienced foreman in the Drywall industry; the ideal applicant would have experience in high-rise and large-scale projects.

Job Description:
Duties:
- Attend all relevant meetings, coordinate deliveries, report to site supervisor and operation manager.
- Ensure health and safety and safe work practices are being followed
- Ensure quality control and cost effectiveness is being upheld at a high standard.
- Oversee sub trades, Piece workers (Framers, drywallers, tapers, confill and soffit installers) manage over there billing and audit their quality, performance, and schedule.
- Other oversight would include fire taping/caulking, back framers, pre board inspections and repairs, post board inspection, repairs and laborers.
- Be present for inspections by the consultants and city officials to remedy small issues and to understand and limit greater issues.
- Walk through and create deficiency lists after sub trades to ensure the greatest quality finish is consistent.
- Manage and document all work requested that is outside of our scope or not part of the contract, verify it is not part of our contract and proceed with T&M sheets for the extra work once approved by the operations manager.
Summary of Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous employment as a Foreman in the wall and ceiling/drywall industry.
- Good communication skills, strong leadership skills, multitasking.
- Ability to use electronic drawings efficiently, experience with Plangrid or Autodesk would be an asset.
