Headquartered in Boise, Idaho, On-Site Services is a material handling fleet dealership and field service company. We provide service and support to a wide array of heavy equipment ("Yellow Iron"), industrial equipment, industrial trucks, forklifts and material handling equipment, and fleet vehicles. Additionally, we support the commercial construction industry with freight dock supplies, installation, and maintenance. This position will report directly to the OnSite Service's field office located in Boise, ID. This position after training may transition to a Hybrid type schedule. ( weekend availability will be required )

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE:

Parts Administrator for the Gas, Oil, Railroad, and Utility division of On-site Services.

Parts administrators are responsible for the identification, procurement, and sales of parts within the heavy equipment and diesel truck industries. Admin will work closely with vendors, field service technicians, and foremen to provide parts required for repairs.

Parts Administrators will

  • Place and receive parts orders.
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing with vendors, techs, and foremen to identify parts needs and availability.
  • Organize & maintain logistics for the parts department and field services team.
  • Perform routine inventory counts within our warehouse and field service trucks as needed.
  • Execute defined processes to ensure high quality and accurate updating of work orders with sourced parts information, pricing, cost information, etc.

  • Establish and maintain professional relations with On-Site Services’ customers and vendors
  • Courteous with co-workers, peers, subordinates, customers, vendors, supervisors, and managers
  • Appropriate punctuality for the role
  • Adopt a receptive attitude for training
  • Ask questions for clarification, learning, understanding
  • Perform assigned work as requested and trained
  • Communicate regularly with peers in all departments as well as supervisors and managers

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma, some college-level education may be helpful but is not required. A university degree is not required for this role

Experience: Customer Service Experience is preferred (Call Centers, direct contact with public in a customer service role – servers, cashiers, clerks, or administrators in an automotive parts store, etc.)

· Computer literacy: Able to operate Microsoft systems. Intermediate to high level of Excel experience is a plus.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to have professional email and phone conversations with customers and vendors.

o Type a minimum of 35wpm.

o Use the 10-key proficiently.

· Problem solving skillset. Able to adapt and be flexible.

o Does not take the first no as an answer.

· Able to self-regulate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Physical and Other Requirements

· Required to stand, walk, and sit. Frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.

  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
