What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Part Delivery Driver position at OnWay Transport, LLC?
Location: Kansas City, MO 64120
We partner with local Drivers in the Kansas City area to deliver aftermarket repair parts. We need reliable drivers to deliver auto parts to vehicle repair shops. Our partnering drivers pick up auto parts Monday through Friday from a designated local Warehouse and deliver to customers.
Prior experience making deliveries will be helpful, but no experience is required.
What is required?
- Some courier experience is preferred but is not necessary.
- Available to work scheduled full day shifts.
- Reliable Vehicle to make deliveries.
- Passion to be your own boss.
- Previous customer service experience.
- 21 years or older.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Good driving record.
- Current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR or Driving Record).
- Valid proof of insurance/registration.
Responsibilities:
- Picking up and delivering to customer locations.
- Bending, lifting, and carrying.
- Bringing back cores and auto part returns.
- Dependability: Consistently at work when scheduled, on time, and follows instructions.
- Professionalism: Always maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
- Interpersonal Skills: Maintains open communication with fellow drivers, client/customer employees, supervision, and management.
- Quality Control: Demonstrates consistency, accuracy and monitors their own work to ensure quality.
