Account Managers are responsible for the oversight and management of multiple clients and brands. This includes end-to-end support of all project deliverables including participating in the strategic planning, development, execution, delivery, and overall project management of patient engagement deliverables.
Account Managers direct assigned account team members to ensure that all activities and documents meet timeline, financial, and quality objectives and commitments. This requires an ability to manage multiple projects, monitor deadlines, prioritize work, evaluate the cost-effectiveness and productivity of team and individual performance, and identify, analyze, and adjust work procedures and relationships to maximize efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing client deliverables and overall workflow management; the primary point of contact for the client and the liaison for internal stakeholders (Patient Content, Patient Relationship Management, Strategy and Insights, and Finance) supporting the account
- Addressing and problem-solving internal issues that may arise and are associated with the workflow of each deliverable
- Managing multiple and sometimes competing challenges, issues, and priorities with the ability to delegate, problem-solve, and set clear expectations
- Developing, managing, and driving timelines and execution of a wide range of patient-focused tactics including webinars, videos, content creation, and live programs
- Managing the financial health of all assigned accounts and associated client deliverables ensuring successful tactical execution by delivering on time and within budget
- Comparing, contrasting, and quality-checking work with keen attention to detail
- Proactively identifying ways to support their clients in a collaborative team environment
- Supporting client Veeva submissions and review process for program-related materials
- Evaluating the cost-effectiveness and productivity of internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and adjusting work streams to maximize efficiencies across assigned accounts
- Managing the documentation, operations, and financials to ensure client satisfaction
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- BA or BS in marketing, communications, biology, life sciences, or a related field
- 3 years of experience working for a pharmaceutical company or scientific communications agency
- Effectively manage multiple accounts in compliance with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS365 including Word, Excel (especially spreadsheets, database, and reporting tools), PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams; experience with Cvent and/or Veeva a plus!
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Expertise in managing client budgets; monthly reporting and accruals
- Ability to learn new areas and skills relevant to your assigned clients and teams
- In-depth knowledge of, and compassion for, each client’s patient group and their needs
- Aptitude for the English language and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make clear, concise decisions and proactively identify problems that may impact the workflow or end deliverables for our clients, along with any details that may impact travel and accommodations for Patients/Caregivers
- Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work in a fast-paced work environment
- A desire for excellence and a passion for succeeding in a fast-moving and ever-evolving environment where everyone is expected to be hands-on

Travel Requirements
