What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide position at Open Hearts Home Care?
Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and transferring techniques.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, taking into consideration any special dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing client's living space.
- Help clients with special needs, such as individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records.

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
