We’re looking for an exceptional part-time Recruiting Coordinator with a passion for providing administrative support. Open Sky Education is committed to providing a full and lasting education for all children. The Recruiting Coordinator will support this commitment by partnering with the region’s Recruiter to help secure the best talent to work with our students.
As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will be responsible for daily administrative support and coordination of recruiting operations within the region. You will provide recruitment administrative support in accordance with company policy and compliance/regulations relating to the recruitment cycle.
You’ll report to the National Director of Talent.

About you
- You earned a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources.
- You are familiar with web-based applicant tracking systems. UKG/UltiPro is a plus.
- You have experience with high volume administrative support with strict deadlines.
- You have excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
- You have demonstrated the ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently.
- You have a high sense of urgency and responsiveness.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You have excellent customer service skills.
- You have the ability to travel locally from campus to campus as needed.
- You possess the willingness and ability to collaborate and work as a team.
What you’ll do
- Represent the Talent team positively and build relationships, internal/external branding and communication with candidates and hiring managers across the region.
- Partner with the region’s Recruiter to discuss and respond to staffing needs while building relationships with hiring managers.
- Prepare and post job ads online using several different job boards, as determined by the Recruiter. Refresh and maintain them as needed.
- Schedule calls and interviews for the hiring managers and maintain candidate database.
- Process background checks, reference checks, and collect education and certification documents for verification and records retention.
- Conduct FCRA compliant pre-adverse and adverse action documents as needed.
- Coordinate travel for fly-in candidates.
- Manage applicant tracking system by posting, updating, and closing job orders, moving candidates through the process and extending written offers.
- Provide benefits package information to candidates and refer any offer negotiations to the Recruiter and collect final revised details for producing a complete and final offer letter.
- Run reports of any available analytics data from the job boards over to the Recruiter for their analysis.
- Refer any ADA accommodations requests to the Talent Operations team for management.
- Collect and process I-9 documents for candidates hired.
- Upon completion of the recruitment cycle, transition new hires onto the Talent Operations team for onboarding.
- Collect recruitment survey data from candidates and hiring managers.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
