Immediate Opening : Warehouse Operator
Openwork is partnering with a client to find a skilled and proactive Warehouse Operator to join their team. This position is critical to the efficient operation of our client’s production equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating various production machines, ensuring high performance, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Location : La Porte, TX
Type : Temp-to-Hire for top performers
Key Responsibilities :
- Sample and handle important raw materials.
- Scan, transport, and manage raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse.
- Allocate raw materials and dispose of finished products as required by the production department.
- Supply necessary materials to production departments.
- Ensure adherence to safety and cleanliness standards in the warehouse.
- Comply with all quality requirements and follow relevant job instructions.
- Complete daily inspection logs for forklifts.
Job Requirements :
- Experience handling chemical materials.
- Skilled in material transportation.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems.
- Understanding of environmental protection, health, and safety regulations.
- Ability to resolve recurring issues through routine procedures.
- Experience operating a reach truck.
Qualifications :
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Valid Warehouse, Forklift Driver’s License, and Driver’s License.
Compensation : $17.00 per hour
Shift Hours : Monday Friday, 6 : 00 AM 6 : 00 PM
