As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you would be responsible for the orientation, training, and competency validation, and continuing education of the nursing staff in our 14-room Operating Room Dept. You will find professional growth and satisfaction in shared decision-making initiatives at the clinical, departmental, and system levels. As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will make an impact each day with program development and leading evidence-based practice initiatives. This position also supports the hiring, training, and on-going support of our Perioperative Fellowship, which is run multiple times per year (for new graduates and experienced RN’s looking to transition into an OR role.)

Position: Clinical Nurse Educator – Operating Room
Shift: Monday - Friday

Experience:
1. Three to Five years of recent Operating Room Nurse experience.
2. Prior Clinical Nurse Educator or other related experience is preferred.

Education:
1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
2. At least one degree must be in nursing ( i.e. BSN or MSN ).
3. Master's degree is strongly preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:
1. PA RN license
2. Certification in Specialty is preferred.
3. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
