What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRO Buyer/Facility Assistant position at OPPORTUNITIES, INC.?
The Facility Assistant will be responsible for MRO purchasing, assisting in the buildings and grounds, vehicle repairs, maintenance spare parts inventory, work order system, office supply ordering and material procurement. The Facility Assistant needs to be able to meet deadlines and maintain the flow of work orders to support maintenance. The selected candidate must establish, maintain and respond to inventory requirements for maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Plans, organizes and controls activities related to Operations material procurement.
Constantly seeks to improve current processes and methods to efficiently improve inventory accuracy and exchange of information. This includes ensuring all critical and essential parts are inventoried and on-hand.
Maintain optimal inventory levels for production equipment for maximum efficiency and reliability through ordering parts and perform weekly inventory audit.
Work Order and Preventative Maintenance system Administrator. Creates accounts and disables accounts when personnel leave.
Assigning work order tickets for services in CMMS; Facility Dude platform.
Provide support and assistance to Maintenance personnel to include, but not limited to training on submitting purchase requests, Facility Dude, and proper inventory exchange procedures.
Oversees office supplies for main campus.
Assists in managing vehicle fleet repairs, inspections and registration renewals. Ensure all repairs are documented in Facility Dude.
Additional duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
