What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities position at OpSource?
Primary Objectives Adheres and maintains to all safety rules, regulations, and standards. Assure that all products are built to the highest standard of quality. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Assure that the production goals are met. Separate scrap materials from trash and place in appropriate bins. After completing daily tasks cleans the entire work area, makes sure it is free of clutter and debris Adheres to all policies, procedures, and practices and follows supervisor directives consistently, respectfully, professionally, and effectively in a manner reflecting the quality expectations and standards of conduct. Essential Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and changed as needed) Facilities C
Assist in performing all duties related to building and grounds maintenance including: layout; installation and removal of equipment; cleaning, painting, organizing and straightening; forklift certification; working at heights certification for scissor and boom lifts; fall protection certification; install and change lighting fixtures and bulbs; polish, patch and perform associated floor repairs; perform facility equipment checks (compressors, chillers, and other equipment); scrap pit maintenance and clean up; minor roof repairs; environmental compliance with respect to disposal of waste and spillage. Proficient at all aspects of a C with ability to work at pace with little to no supervision. Ability to properly rig equipment for installation/removal; perform welding functions for rack repair; use of plasma cutter; ability to mig and stick weld; ability to use milling machines; must know level 1 electrical (120v) to wire lights, switches, receptacles, extension cords, fans etc. Facilities A
Proficient in all aspects of a C & B.
Must know level 2 electrical; 480v; wire transformer, disconnects, motors; re-set equipment after outages; troubleshoot electrical issues; plan and complete projects in time allotted. Requirements Physical ability to bend, stoop, stand and repetitively lift, push, and pull 50 or more lbs. continuously throughout assigned work shift.
Moderate physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting & grasping. Must be able to work in varying temperatures. Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions / directions in English. Must be willing to always wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor. Ability and desire to perform other duties as assigned as it relates to the scope and nature of our business.
