What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP of Professional Services position at OPSWAT?
The Position
As the VP of Professional Services and senior business leader with OPSWAT, you are responsible for driving revenue for our Professional and Managed Services practice. You will be responsible for new product introduction and ongoing product lifecycle, sales enablement, sales methodology, pipeline management, achieving booking and billings targets, and adoption of new OPSWAT software products by customers of our services solutions. You will work closely with our global Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, CloudOps, and Services delivery teams to ensure that services can be successfully marketed, sold, and delivered to our customers. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Customer Experience and will collaborate with the executive committee to ensure that services strategies are aligned with our corporate goals and objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
- Communicating and promoting the services vision and strategy to all levels of OPSWAT, with a specific focus on the executive and sales teams.
- Focusing primarily on maturing and expanding OPSWAT’s Managed Services offerings and ensuring a framework for adoption of new OPSWAT software products at our managed services sites.
- Engaging with Sales, Customers, Analysts & Partners to maintain continual awareness of market demand and trends.
- Identifying, designing, and going to market with new services products.
- Helping Sales (Direct and Channel) sell services.
- Working closely with Professional Services and Managed Services delivery teams, both internal and outsourced.
- Reporting on services pipeline, bookings, and revenue.
What We Need From You
- 5 years management within a fast-paced software organization (start-up experience preferred).
- 2-4 years of B2B experience managing Services product offerings, GTM strategy, NPI, and ongoing product life cycle.
- Experience owning Services portfolio.
- Experience selling Managed Services and Professional Services.
- Experience working with a rapidly changing product and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where change is the only constant.
- A personable and collaborative attitude with a track record of working successfully across teams.
- Ability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous inter-dependencies.
- An interest in developing subject matter expertise with OPSWAT products.
