What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Service Desk Analyst position at OpTech LLC?
OpTech is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst.
Long term contract, Monday through Friday, 8 hour dayshift
Location: Mix of onsite (Pontiac, MI) and remote; 2-3 days of each / week.
Compensation: $25-28/hour; Good employee benefits!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focus: Telecom issues, VOIP, Call Manager; IAM and Active Directory. Most other IT issues will be handled by specific IT Team.
- Accurately document all work performed through ticketing system including details and outcomes.
- Ensure accurate and timely resolution of all assigned issues. Escalate product bugs or unresolvable cases.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the customer experience.
- Main focus will be on support of Microsoft Office 365 on various platforms. Share knowledge amongst the Microsoft support program community via solution documents, social media, technical communities and training recommendations.
- Participate in product testing, tool building and pilot new projects.
- Secondarily will back up other team members on Hardware and Server incidents.
MANDATORY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated professionalism in resolving customer issues.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills including: identification of issues, obstacles and opportunities and development and implementation of effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to think on your feet and take a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Understanding of O365 Suite and environment. Understanding of O365 capabilities, plans, service descriptions and features
- Help desk: 4 years (Required)
- Telecom: 2 years (Recent and required)
- Windows: 4 years (Required)
- O365: 2 years (Required)
