Title:Editor Location:Remote - Part-Time (12-16hrs week)
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a part-time Editor to support the Defense Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) program management office. This person will support providing administrative, program management, and select front office support to streamline and facilitate operations across the Program.
Success in this role will be defined by the ability to produce accurate, high-quality documentation that meets the needs of diverse user groups within the DHMSM program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing, with exceptional written communication skills and the ability to present complex information in a clear and structured manner.
This person should be proficient in various editing tools and have the capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously. They should also be capable of working independently, accurately prioritizing tasks, and developing strategies that aligns with user and program needs.
This role will work closely with BCG team members, government leaders, vendors, and subcontractors in support of the DHMSM program and only require 12 to 16 hours of support per week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meeting with other team members, including writers, senior editors, project managers and marketing directors, to create content
- Reviewing story or article ideas
- Uploading content to a management system
- Revising content
- Mastery of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Experience working with other team members to produce content
- Experience that's relevant to the work you need created in terms of word count, tone and content (e.g., technical writing versus advertising copy)
- Knowledge of the software testing planning and execution process is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- U.S. citizenship required
- Has a CAC (Common Access Card) [preferred]
- Ability to hold others accountable and push back when necessary
- Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through is a must; performs tasks with high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
- Excellent written communication skills and strong experience in written documentation
- Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines
