We aspire to aid the growth of our company by welcoming the most qualified and deserving candidates aboard. Optima Medical is seeking an AP Clerk to join our Finance team! This individual should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where creative thinking, problem solving, analysis, efficiency, autonomy, and initiative are required. Must be a team-player, an excellent communicator, detail oriented, and a multi-tasker.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
  • Handle accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
  • Analyze workflow processes
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner
  • Adhere to departmental procedures
  • Compare prices, terms of payment and other charges
  • Process invoices for payments and perform accounting duties
  • Account maintenance
  • Record entries
  • Review and reconcile statements received
  • Assist department and others as needed
  • 1099 preparation and processing
  • Filing and organization


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years relevant experience in accounts payable
  • QuickBooks experience preferred
  • Word processing, spreadsheets, email communication skills required

Full-time:

Remote Work Hybrid: 2 remote days per week after training period
