Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Field Organizer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by engaging with voters, managing local campaigns, and ensuring our presence in the community. This position requires a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for grassroots activism.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and organize volunteers to participate in grassroots efforts, such as door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and voter registration drives.
- Develop and implement strategies for engaging with voters, including identifying and building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Supervise and manage a team of canvassers, ensuring that they meet their daily goals and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Utilize market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for campaign growth.
- Conduct outreach and fundraising efforts to support local campaigns.
- Participate in telemarketing and sales efforts to secure sponsorships and donations.
- Communicate effectively with voters, community leaders, and other stakeholders through in-person meetings, phone calls, and written correspondence.
- Conduct voter registration drives and other grassroots efforts to increase voter turnout and build our organization's presence in the community.
- Monitor and report on campaign progress, identifying areas of improvement and making adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in door-to-door canvassing or similar roles.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with voters and community leaders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience in fundraising or telemarketing is a plus.
- Experience with grassroots activism, including voter registration drives and canvassing.
- Strong passion for politics and a commitment to our mission.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
We will be paying for your travel and housing throughout the project.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $1,375.00 - $1,500.00 per week
Expected hours: 60 per week
