Software Developer IV (Typescript)
Optomi, in partnership with a national leader in the telecommunications industry, is looking for an experienced Software Developer IV in their Denver, CO location! Candidates must be proficient in TypeScript, working with API’s, and unit testing. Candidates must also be comfortable leveraging open-source code, and working in a micro-services architecture. Experience of the right candidate:
- Experience utilizing Javascript/Typescript, Python, and leveraging open-source code.
- Experience building and implementing RESTful API’s.
- Experience in a micro-services environment.
- Experience and understanding of unit-testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with AWS tools (EKS, VPC, EC2, S3, Cassandra/Keyspaces, ELB, Secrets Manager).
- Experience and understanding of containers (Kubernetes).
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Design, develop, test, monitor, enhance, and troubleshoot software systems.
- Develop RESTful API’s for use by external applications using TypeScript.
- Assist in the execution of complex projects that involve several technical systems and constituents.
- Follow best practices for code development, API design, version control, test automation and build automation.
- Create project documentation.
- Collaborate with fellow Engineers to align development plans.
- Design and implement new functionality that is testable and performant with minimal oversight and guidance.
- Triage escaped defects and critical production issues.
- Work on performance tuning and re-factoring of applications.
Salary : $50 - $55
