As part of our continued growth, Optum is looking for Hospitalists to join our teams in the coming year!  The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume.  We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details:

• Locations: Orange County and Los Angeles County

• Block Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off – Day and Evening shifts

• Admissions and rounding on assigned patients, no procedures performed

• Average Patient Census: 12 -15 patients

• Strong network of Colleagues/Hospitalists and interdisciplinary teams

• Partner with Hospitalists and interdisciplinary team; Intensivists and Specialists

• Participate in Hospitalist team meetings

• Established Hospitalist program, mentoring available for new grads

Requirements:

• Unrestricted California State Medical License

• Current California DEA certificate required prior to start date

• ACGME Residency trained

• BE/BC in Internal Medicine

• WELCOME 2022 Internal Medicine Grads

• EMR proficient

• Excellent communication skills
