As part of our continued growth, Optum is looking for Hospitalists to join our teams in the coming year! The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details:
Locations: Orange County and Los Angeles County
Block Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off – Day and Evening shifts
Admissions and rounding on assigned patients, no procedures performed
Average Patient Census: 12 -15 patients
Strong network of Colleagues/Hospitalists and interdisciplinary teams
Partner with Hospitalists and interdisciplinary team; Intensivists and Specialists
Participate in Hospitalist team meetings
Established Hospitalist program, mentoring available for new grads
Requirements:
Unrestricted California State Medical License
Current California DEA certificate required prior to start date
ACGME Residency trained
BE/BC in Internal Medicine
WELCOME 2022 Internal Medicine Grads
EMR proficient
Excellent communication skills
